Let’s Get Started

Please review the guide below to get started with your kitchen rental.

If you have any questions along the way, we’re here to help—just reach out.

1. Complete Our Form & Book a Tour

Start by filling out our quick form—once submitted, we’ll reach out to schedule your kitchen tour and discuss availability.

Complete form here.

2. Contact the OC Health Department

You’ll need to register with the Orange County Health Department to operate legally out of a commercial kitchen.

3. Get Your Food Safety Certifications

At least one person on your team must have a Food Manager Certificate, and everyone else working in the kitchen must have a Food Handler Card.

We recommend in-person courses for quick, verifiable certification.

Pro Tip: Choose a course that gives same-day results so you’re not waiting weeks for paperwork.

4. Secure Business Liability Insurance

All tenants must carry liability insurance and list our kitchen as “additional insured.”

Your policy must include:

  • $1,000,000 coverage under “Damages to Rented Premises (Each Occurrence)”

A good policy should cost around $90/month.

Need help finding coverage? Call us—we’re happy to refer you to a trusted insurance agent.

Once you’ve got your documents and certifications in place, you’re ready to reserve your space.
