Each kitchen comes equipped with sinks, prep tables, shelving, and electrical outlets. Utilities such as electricity, water, trash, and HVAC are also included in the monthly utility fee.
Do you offer hot and cold prep kitchens?
Yes! We offer both hot prep kitchens (with hoods and optional cooking equipment) and cold prep kitchens ideal for sushi, juicing, coffee, and packaged goods.
What is the size of each kitchen?
Most kitchens are 240 sq/ft (12 ft x 20 ft), while our bakery and dairy kitchens are larger at 440 sq/ft. We also offer a 4,500 sq/ft shared production kitchen for high-volume users.
What types of businesses are these kitchens good for?
Perfect for catering, baking, meal prep, ghost kitchens, food delivery, online brands, and wholesale production. We also welcome ice cream makers, juicers, fermenters, and more.
Is storage included?
Each kitchen includes built-in shelving and prep space. Additional dry, cold, and freezer storage is available for rent on a flexible basis.
Do I have 24/7 access to the kitchen?
Yes. All private kitchens come with 24/7 secure access so you can work on your schedule, day or night.
What are the rental rates?
Private kitchens start at $2,850/month for cold prep and $3,250/month for hot prep. Larger specialty kitchens range up to $13,000/month depending on size and usage.
Are utilities included in the price?
Utilities are billed separately and range from $850 to $2,800/month, depending on the kitchen type and size. This includes electricity, water, trash service, and climate control.
Is there a lease requirement?
Yes, all kitchens require a 6- or 12-month minimum contract, with a security deposit equal to one month’s rent.
Can I rent kitchen space by the hour?
Yes! Our shared kitchen offers flexible hourly packages starting at $1,000/month for 20 hours, with additional tiers for 40, 80, and 160 hours/month.
Can I rent equipment separately?
Absolutely. Equipment rentals like stoves, convection ovens, griddles, fryers, and cold storage are available starting at $250/month.
Do you offer tours of the space?
Yes! We highly recommend booking a tour before signing. You can schedule a tour directly through our website.
Is insurance required to rent a kitchen?
Yes, all renters must carry business liability insurance and provide proof before move-in.
Can I get deliveries or load in equipment?
Yes, we provide loading zones and parking for easy deliveries, pickups, and equipment transport.
Are the kitchens health department compliant?
Yes, all kitchens are compliant with local health codes and designed for safe, licensed commercial food production.
Do you allow food trucks or mobile vendors to prep here?
Yes! Many of our renters use the space for commissary prep before loading up their trucks or mobile carts.
Are there restrictions on the types of food I can make?
Most food types are welcome, including baked goods, beverages, cold items, and cooked meals. Activities involving hazardous materials or strong emissions may require review.
